Do you want to know how to meditate for beginners? I’ll teach you exactly how to get started in this blog!
Meditation is good for the soul.
Meditation is the practice of observing your thoughts from a neutral viewpoint. When your mind, body and soul are aligned it raises your overall vibration.
This is why meditation goes hand in hand with the law of attraction. It’s a useful technique to help bring in your manifestations! It’s perfect for manifestation because it puts you in a positive mindset.
There are many amazing benefits of meditation. Through the practice of meditation, you can learn SELF AWARENESS, improve your FOCUS and be more MINDFUL. It’s a way you can connect to your higher self and improve on your inner growth.
Length of time?
As a beginner, I recommend setting aside 5 to 10 minutes of meditation time for yourself. It’s a great way to start your day because it sets you up for success.
As you become more comfortable you can increase your meditation time. You can add another meditation session at night right before you go to sleep.
The more consistent you are with meditation the more results you will get. And once it becomes a habit the easier it will be.
Where to meditate?
First, you’ll need to find a quiet peaceful area with no distractions. Find a place where you can find your inner Zen. You can make your space as comfy as you want by adding soft blankets, pillows, or candles.
Maybe you would prefer sitting near a window or even outside in nature. Whatever is calming to you and sets the mood for meditation.
Position?
After you find the perfect place to meditate, you should find a comfortable position to sit. The most common position to meditate is called the lotus position with your legs crossed and sitting upright. It’s important to keep your back straight and to avoid slouching.
Keep your shoulders relaxed with your arms resting by your sides. You can place your hands with your palms facing up or have your hands cupped in your lap. Do whatever feels best to you! Remember this is going to look different for everyone.

How to meditate?
Once you’re comfortable take a moment to clear your mind…now close your eyes.
Begin meditation by focusing on your breath. You can control your breathing by taking slow deep breaths, inhaling in and out. While being aware of your breath let your mind and body completely relax.
Next, allow whatever thoughts you’re thinking during this time to come in and then let them go. You want to simply acknowledge your thoughts, take note of them, and then move on. The point of this is to simply observe your feelings with no judgement or opinion.
Meditation is a beneficial way to separate yourself from your thoughts and feelings. You’re able to realize that your thoughts and feelings don’t always control you.
Through meditation you can reflect on things without letting emotions overwhelm you. It’s a useful way to gain clarity when dealing with any issues or feelings you may be going through.
